Application in Kindergarten. 6-7 Years Old

This manual presents scenarios for engaging classes with children aged 6-7 in application. In application classes, children reinforce their skills in cutting parts of objects and entire silhouettes from paper, symmetrical details from folded paper, and several objects or their... parts from paper folded in an accordion style. Children develop the ability to create decorative compositions from geometric and plant forms, the ability to correctly position the application on the page; they get acquainted with the techniques of lace cutting, edge trimming, quilling, decoupage, and others. In group work, children learn to plan and coordinate their actions with the actions of others. The classes in visual arts are organized thematically: one theme unites all classes (on modeling, application, drawing) throughout the week.
