The kingdom of eternal summer, where tropical fruits ripen all year round, and the sea is so gentle… Yes, the Hawaiian Islands are paradise on Earth. But not for everyone. For the Korean immigrants hired to work on sugarcane plantations, Hawaii is exhausting labor under the scorching sun, far from the occupied homeland and loved ones whom they are unlikely to see again. And the only thing that brings joy in such a "paradise" is that life back home resembled hell too much to complain about anything here. However, hellish or heavenly, life is still life. And so, tired of loneliness, two best friends decide to order future wives from Korea. A mail-order bride is quite a common matter, but it turns out that the heart cannot be commanded.
