The Tale of the Samurai

An exciting Japanese noir for fans of "Shogun" and "Seven Samurai." Medieval Japan, the Edo period. Years of war have given way to the long-awaited peace, but after it, the samurai found themselves unwanted. They have been cast out by the government from their warrior houses and are fighting each other in the streets of the vast city for survival. Exiled, betrayed, and lonely on the verge of murder and suicide, they seek some purpose for themselves. In hope, if not to save their lives or preserve their honor, then at least to keep the memories of themselves.
