Dandelion Wine

In the summer of 1928, twelve-year-old Douglas Spaulding spends time in his hometown in Illinois.
At first glance – an ordinary summer. But Douglas is growing up and thinking about things he hadn't thought about a year ago.
For example, about dandelion... wine, which his grandfather makes every summer. The wine preserves the time when the flowers were gathered, healing the family members who fall ill in winter.
Suddenly, Douglas realizes that each bottle of wine conserves one summer day.
To keep his thoughts and feelings intact, Douglas begins to keep a diary.
