Paladin of the Soul

Peace and tranquility in Shalion have been restored thanks to the efforts of the royal couple Bergon and his wife Izelle. The gods are benevolent to all the residents of the ancient land, except for the widowed queen Ista. Haunted by the sinister ghosts of the past, she tries to slip away from the oversight of her pesky guardians, for which she plans to go on a pilgrimage to holy sites. In this journey, Ista hopes to find peace of mind or at least dispel the deadening melancholy. But the gods will not let her forget the past; moreover: they will grant her a second chance – to find her path in life and, perhaps, love, in which she no longer has the strength to believe. For this, very little is needed: to withstand the enemy army and defeat the dark sorcery against which the bravest of men have found themselves powerless...
