Counting and Quantity. Tasks with Visual Instruction

The basis of the "Smart-Start" series of teaching aids is the golden rule of didactics - the principle of visuality, which is explained by the specificity of preschoolers' thinking. The bright and interesting tasks of the "Smart-Start" series are developed... with an emphasis on visual instruction, allowing the child to easily (naturally) understand and perform exercises without adult involvement.
This guide has been developed taking into account the psychological features of children's perception and understanding of the concepts of "number" and "digit", as well as the formation and consolidation of the visual image of the digit.
By completing the tasks, the child will easily and simply learn to count, relate the quantity of objects to the number, solidify the image of the digit, and will not confuse the writing of digits (1 and 7, 2 and 5, 3 and 8, 6 and 9).
The guide is recommended for individual or group classes with a child in the "adult-child" pair.
