Thinking and Speech

Lev Vygotsky is a classic of domestic psychology. He was the first to begin researching higher psychological functions and created the concept of the "new person." "Thinking and Speech" is a posthumous collection of Vygotsky's works; while investigating the causes of the crisis in psychology that arose at the beginning of the last century, L.S. Vygotsky discovered that existing concepts of mental development are based on a flawed approach that he termed naturalistic. To this viewpoint, Vygotsky opposed his cultural-historical concept of mental development.
