Critique of Practical Reason

Immanuel Kant is the founder of German classical philosophy. As one of the leading thinkers of the Enlightenment, Kant became the founder of critical idealism, which had a huge influence on the works of Fichte, Schelling, Hegel, and further world... philosophical thought.
Kant believed that reason is the source of morality and that aesthetics arises from the ability of disinterested judgment. Kant's views continue to exert a significant influence on contemporary philosophy, especially in the fields of ethics, political theory, and postmodern aesthetics.
"Critique of Practical Reason" is the second of three critical works by Immanuel Kant, a direct continuation of "Critique of Pure Reason."
The second critique had a decisive impact on the subsequent development in the field of ethics and moral philosophy, starting with Fichte's doctrine of science and becoming the main reference point for moral philosophy in the 20th century.
