Gabriela is in her senior year, in school she is an unnoticed mouse and communicates with the world through music. Gabriela is a cellist. One day, with her cello on her back, she goes wandering the streets of Tel Aviv... instead of going to school. Thus begins her journey, in which she will find her own voice.
Noa is always the center of attention, she talks, talks, and talks, without pausing for a moment. And for her fortieth birthday, she receives a gift of a "silent retreat." But the silence around her dissonates too much with the buzz inside, and Noa runs away from the haven of silence. She never anticipated that her birthday would turn into a journey through the tangled alleys of old Jerusalem—a journey to herself.
Zipora has spent her entire life speaking with a foreign voice—she is a translator from English. Once she translated Joyce, and now she is translating unpretentious romantic comedies and silly thrillers into Hebrew. It’s no wonder that one day the Voice appears to her, leading her away from her accustomed loneliness and her persistent resentment towards the whole world.
Three women, three voices will converge at one point. Which is quite natural, as Gabriela is Noa’s daughter, and Noa is Zipora’s daughter. In one week, they will traverse the path they couldn’t take for their entire previous lives—the path to each other. And this journey will unfold against the backdrop of the Noise of our time.
