The Codex Alera. Book 6. Fury of the First Consul

The war with the hive civilization is a war for the survival of all living things in the world named Carna. For the sake of survival, it is necessary to forget or at least postpone for a while the intertribal strife and the civil struggle for power. The continent belonging to the Canim has already been captured by insect-like invaders, and the surviving wolf-warriors join the fight on the side of Alera. They are supported by the bordering barbarian tribes. Tavi, the legitimate but unrecognized First Consul of Alera, leads the allies to the last bastions of Aleran defense. His only hope is to destroy the queen of the vord, the mind of the hive. Meanwhile, Isana, the queen's captive, begins to discern human traits in this alien mind. Perhaps there is a chance to negotiate? For the first time in Russian!
