The Witch, the Mage, and the Stone Cauldron

What can surprise a witch about an ordinary stone cauldron? What if it's not a cauldron, but a bowl? What if it's also ritualistic? Having rid myself of a higher demon, but facing the legacy left behind, I will have to deal with it whether I want to or not.
