Practical Grammar of the Russian Language

The manual is addressed to foreign students who speak Russian at the B1–B2 level.
The manual includes the following grammatical topics: «Expression of Spatial Relations», «Expression of Temporal Relations», «Verbs of Motion (without prefixes and with prefixes)», «Aspects of Verbs». Each topic is accompanied by reference materials and exercises. The manual contains widely used language and speech (communicative) exercises in educational practice, which are provided according to the principle of increasing complexity, as well as exercises on the use of idioms and proverbs related to the studied grammatical topic and game tasks. All exercises are aimed at developing oral speech, expanding and deepening knowledge in the field of grammar. Keys are provided for many exercises. The manual also contains a block of texts for grammatical analysis with linguistic and cultural comments and tasks aimed at understanding the language material and reinforcing what has been learned.
The manual can be used for systematic study of the stated grammatical topics, as well as as a reference material in case of the need to fill gaps in students' knowledge and correct mistakes in their speech.
The manual takes into account the requirements of state educational standards for RKI and can be used to prepare students for certification testing.
