The essence of the game

«Warriors of Sakura. Masters of Duels» is a battle of two minds, with a vast variety of strategies. With each fight, you will discover something new. Thanks to 6 asymmetric characters, you can study the game for a long time, honing tactics and perfecting your strategies. In this box, you will find 6 new megami designed for intermediate and advanced players. Mastering the powers of the new megami will allow you to conduct more intense and diverse duels. And if you prefer something simpler, take a look at «Warriors of Sakura. First Steps».

The game itself takes place in three stages:

«Choice of Megami», «Deck Creation», and «Duel under the Sakura».

Choice of Megami. At this stage, you choose two megami whose powers you will use. Each player selects two megami for the duel, the powers of which will be used in this duel.
Deck Creation. After studying the megami chosen by your opponent, you create a deck that you will play with. Secretly from your opponent, choose 7 common cards and 3 special cards from the available cards. If you find it difficult to create your own deck at first, you can use examples of ready-made decks. After selecting cards, place 7 common cards face down in a pile (this will be your deck) next to the game board, and place the 3 special cards separately face down. You can look at your special cards at any time.
Duel under the Sakura. After both players have created their decks, the duel begins on the game board. The current state of the battlefield is determined by 36 cherry blossom petals located in different game areas. For example, if there are a total of 5 cherry blossom petals in the «Distance» area, then the distance between you and your opponent is 5. By controlling the distance, you can use attacks with an appropriate range to reduce the opponent's health points.

«Warriors of Sakura. Masters of Duels» includes the following megami:

Hagané. She is a megami representing the earth, and a master craftsman using an iron hammer to forge metal. Due to her naivety and childlike temperament, some megami worry about her and try to take on the role of her guardian. Her right hemisphere and intuition are incredibly developed. She has cards that require payment to use, and no cards that deal low damage. However, she has many devastating moves capable of throwing the opponent off balance, and when she uses a powerful attack, she becomes extraordinarily strong! Let’s gather strength and deal the final blow!
Shinra. She is a wise woman representing sociology and debates, and an intriguer manipulating the world through secret societies. Among the megami, she has an unusual love for organization and big ambitions. Her remarks are extremely wicked, and she loves to win arguments. Shinra can use words to destroy the opponent's hand and deck and dominate their actions. In particular, since there are usually only 7 cards in the deck for this game, her ability to seal cards is simply monstrous. She also specializes in cunning tricks. Abandon the «head-on» battle and show how an intriguer fights.
