"Hellraiser": a legendary story that Clive Barker adapted personally, giving rise to one of the most famous, original, and significant cycles in the history of horror. It all began when Frank Cotton, a pleasure-seeker and conman, opens the Lament Configuration, which according to legends leads to the halls of unearthly pleasures. "Night Breed", also adapted by the writer himself, became a cult horror of the 1980s, with David Cronenberg playing one of the main roles, and soon this novel will become the basis for the eponymous series. A young man named Boone, suffering from a mental disorder, believes himself guilty of a series of brutal murders. In despair, he tries to find Midian, a city from legends where even the worst sins can be absolved. But instead of forgiveness, he finds the Night Breed, strange and sinister creatures with incredible abilities. The only problem is that Boone is being hunted, and now he must save not only himself but also those who believed in him.
