In the beginning, as it is known, there was a turnip. And then there was the grandfather, the grandmother, the granddaughter, the dog, the cat, and the mouse. This story is well-known to everyone – but do you know what...
happened next? What happened next was a treacherous crime! The next morning, the turnip had vanished without a trace. The whole village is in confusion, and the main investigator K. Ryaba has been tasked with figuring out the situation. The problem is that six individuals are under suspicion – from the grandfather to the mouse. Or maybe the turnip orchestrated its own abduction? Only the detective chicks can find the answer, each of whom is conducting their own investigation.
How to play?In the game "Who Stole the Turnip?" you take on the roles of these very chicks. Each player's task is to piece together the exact picture of the crime, identifying the thief, the accomplice, and the motive. Could it be that the grandfather fancied himself the sole owner of the turnip? Or did the granddaughter decide to claim the ill-fated root vegetable for herself? What if the turnip itself is in cahoots with someone? You will need to find out by moving across the field and collecting investigation cards. Find clues, learn the suspect's description, question witnesses, and construct a coherent story based on the available information. But remember: each player only has one chance to identify the thief. If a chick mistakenly accuses an innocent person, they are removed from the investigation.
The game is perfect for family time: simple rules will quickly engage everyone in the gameplay, and the funny stories that arise during the game will be remembered for a long time. If the game seems too confusing for a child at first, several simplified versions are presented in the rules.
The game is well-suited for children aged five and older and their parents, as it develops fine motor skills and thinking, and the ability to plan actions one step ahead. The colorful design and colorful turtle figurines will delight the child, and learning will take place in a relaxed game format.
