Schizophrenia and Schizophrenic Spectrum Disorders

The monograph presents the main provisions of multidisciplinary studies on schizophrenia and schizophrenia spectrum disorders. Clinical aspects are considered, as well as the clinically-biological model of schizophrenia developed at the Scientific Center for Mental Health and a new psychopathological paradigm of this disease. Materials from epidemiological, psychological/psychometric, and neurobiological studies of schizophrenia are provided. Differentiated indications for psychopharmacotherapy of schizophrenia and schizophrenia spectrum disorders have been developed.
