The day when Anna Macdonald's quiet respectable life was shattered began just like all the previous ones: preparing the children for school, breakfast, and listening to another true crime podcast. Then — the shocking decision of her husband to divorce... and take the children. Trying to distract herself from reality, Anna returns to the podcast: other people's problems are much better than her own — a sunken yacht, a murdered family... But, to her horror, Anna recognizes a victim from a familiar past life. A life she would like to forget...
