There are people who are called "eternal adolescents." Their life is a series of unpredictable actions, radical changes in career and personal life, dependencies, passions, and addictions. They swing from one extreme to another, unable to get rid of "emotional swings" and prone to self-destructive behavior. If you recognize a close person, don't rush to accuse them: it is possible that the "eternal adolescent" lives with borderline personality disorder (BPD).
