War and the Otherworld

Two empires – Living Russia and the Otherworld – have existed side by side since time immemorial, bound by a non-interference treaty. But in the summer of 1812, everything will change: Prince Peter Volkonsky is sent to Otherworldly Russia with... a request for help. He has a personal reason to cross the border: in a recent battle, his sister Alexandra, serving in a hussar regiment disguised as a man, was killed. He dreams of rescuing her from the realm of the dead at all costs. Alexandra Volkonskaya has been used to not yielding to her brother in anything since childhood; she learned to fence, ride, and shoot. Now, however, she is in the realm of death, and it is impossible to escape – Koschei will not let anyone go. But giving up is not in her character. Only the final choice for the brother and sister will be the hardest: is Alexandra's life worth the fate of Living Russia?
