Ebru technique is a magical method of painting on the surface of water. The resulting drawing is transferred onto paper or another surface, such as a wooden blank. To create a drawing, apply undissolved paints to the surface of the water...
in a specific sequence. They are held on the water, creating a thin film. Carefully mix the paints to create unique patterns, original ornaments, and scenes. Once you reach the final stage, transfer the image onto the surface using paper.
Instructions:Take a tray and pour 200 ml of warm water into it.Slowly start adding powdered thickener while continuously stirring. The thickener dissolves well in water, but to avoid lumps, it's better not to rush.Continue stirring the solution for 30 minutes. The dry thickener should completely dissolve in water so that you end up with a quality solution on which you can paint for a long time with pleasure. After that, let the solution sit for 10–12 hours. Then you can start painting. Before starting to paint, shake the bottle. For convenience, pour the paint into plastic cups. Do not pour it from droppers or over the edge of the bottle directly onto the thickener. Wipe the needle with a napkin each time you change colors.Dip the tip of the needle into the cup of paint, and then touch the water. A smooth colorful circle will appear on the surface. Apply another color in the center. Draw the needle through the circles to create a pattern. This is one of the painting techniques. Experiment with different techniques and create your masterpiece.
