Mogusyumka and Guryanych

The novella "Mogusyumka and Guryanych" tells about the life of the Beloretsk plant after the abolition of serfdom. Perhaps some may be offended by such a definition - "about the life of the plant", but I am not mistaken, because... the concept of "plant" at that time, especially in the Urals, included not only the production itself in today's sense; the plant referred to the town or village itself, and even the surrounding area, and the plant had its own special way of life, social norms, and folklore. That is, the plant of that time was both the blood and flesh and the spiritual life of the working person. The plant fundamentally changed the lives of the surrounding Bashkirs. And this novella is about the search for people's happiness. About the blind attempts to approach it, resulting in a spontaneous protest of rebellion, even banditry. About the friendship of the Russian and Bashkir peoples, which was tested back in the time of Pugachev's rebellion, and about the forces trying to hinder it.
