Arkham Horror. Litany of Dreams

It is difficult to find a person who has never heard of Howard Phillips Lovecraft - the famous American writer, master of horror and creator of his own universe full of myths, mysterious creatures and ancient beings.

It is also not worth reminding that many excellent board games were created based on these worlds: “Arkham Horror”, “Ancient Horror”, “Arkham Horror. Card Game”, “Mark of the Ancients”, “Secrets of Arkham”, etc. Each of They immerse you in a world in which something that is beyond the comprehension of human consciousness is about to awaken and offers its own action-packed story.

Fantasy Flight Games company met the requests of game fans and invited famous contemporary writers and game designers to participate in the creation of a series of stories. Each of them talks about characters you might already know from one game or another. Jenny Barnes from Hour of the Huntress, for example, is a playable character in both Ancient Horror and Arkham Horror.

Litany of Dreams tells the story of a Miskatonic University student who decides to independently investigate the disappearance of his roommate named Chester. Ever since he disappeared, Elliot has been tormented by voices in his head that constantly sing the same phrase in an ancient language.

In his quest, he turns to local librarian Daisy Walker for help, and also meets a mysterious Inuit who is the keeper of ancient artifacts. How is Chester's disappearance related to the singing that drives him crazy? Elliot is at a loss, and each new clue adds even more questions. One thing is clear: there is definitely a connection between the two events. And the solution will turn out to be much worse than the voices themselves...
