Wanderers in unimaginable lands

Dasha Kiper is a clinical psychologist and leader of support groups for relatives of people with dementia. After graduating from university, she cared for an elderly man with Alzheimer's disease for a year. This personal experience, many years of observation... of loved ones of patients and research training formed the basis of the book “Wanderers in Unimaginable Lands.” Dasha Kiper talks a lot about what happens to the brains of patients and how the disease destroys their personality, but this book is not so much about dementia and people suffering from it, but about relatives who unwittingly become involved in the medical history of their loved ones and who desperately need emotional support in their attempts to accept and survive this situation.
