The History of Domestic Cinema

Our collection of essays is dedicated to the history of domestic cinema from its birth to the present day. In it, we consider films and series from the past 115 years not as outdated artifacts of the past, but through the eyes of people who live here, in Russia, and now, in 2024. After all, works that have already become classics can reveal themselves in unexpected ways if the right questions are asked.
