Magnificent

Isaiah considers himself a god. He believes himself to be a masterpiece of nature and calls himself magnificent. He knows how to make humanity happy. To do this, he methodically must destroy all the unhappy people. For unhappiness is transmitted like a viral disease. One by one, he kills the suffering, the poor, the abandoned, the hopeless... The body was found by the rescuers, who were called by the neighbors – a desperate scream of a cat was heard from the locked apartment, and no one answered the doorbell. They had to break in. Investigator Vitalina Drozd was the first to discover the victim – a woman just over fifty. She was killed by a sharp object in the area of the carotid artery, a hole in her neck, blood on half the room. And there were no signs of struggle. And, most importantly, - no motives. Soon, we have the body of a man. The fingerprints on the bottle with which the murderer crushed the poor man's skull matched those found in the apartment of the murdered woman. And again – no visible motives. And that’s when Vitalina felt something strange in her soul, as if she were somehow complicit in these crimes…
