My Primer. Mini. A Book for Teaching Preschoolers to Read

This is an unusual primer. It was written by a speech therapist teacher. Knowledge of the patterns of children's speech development and extensive practical experience inspired the author to change the traditionally accepted sequence of introducing a child to the letters of the Russian alphabet: difficult sounds and the corresponding letters are given here last; this will help prevent reading and writing difficulties in the child. The primer can be recommended for teaching reading to both children with normal speech development and those with speech defects. It can be used by speech therapists, educators, and parents. Learning will be enjoyable for the child because the book contains many games, engaging tasks, poems, and bright pictures. Adults will find brief and clear methodological instructions on each page of the primer helpful in teaching the child.
