East of the sun, west of the moon. Norwegian Forest Troll Tales

The collection contains ten original Norwegian fairy tales. The tales are incredibly atmospheric, filled with the smell of the sea, the whisper of leaves and the reflections of the dim northern sun. Each tale is accompanied by stylish illustrations.
Among the... tales there are those well known to the Russian reader: East of the Sun and West of the Moon, Castle of SoriaMoria, The Boys Who Met the Trolls in the Hedal Forest and lesser known ones, for example, The Seventh Father in the House.
In the book, the texts of fairy tales in Norwegian are supplemented by their literary translations into Russian. Questions for texts, as well as words and expressions for them, will help the reader more clearly understand the content of the fairy tale, consolidate common grammatical forms in memory and expand their vocabulary.
The manual is intended for anyone who is learning Norwegian on their own or with a teacher.
