Advanced and Final Level. The second and third parts of the teaching aid for listening to Chinese speech are intended for use in the educational process at the advanced (third year) and final (fourth year) stages of learning as supplementary teaching... material or for self-study of the Chinese language as the main training material for developing listening skills, as well as for preparing for the HSK exam.
The listening materials are presented by authentic contemporary texts of various genres in standard Chinese "baihuawen" from various Chinese sources and the book "Chinese Language. Practicum in Listening, Reading, Speaking". The texts are voiced by different speakers, with an emphasis on the emotionally expressive properties of spoken Chinese.
Each text is accompanied by a list of unfamiliar vocabulary and questions for self-monitoring and discussion. Individual lexical units in the texts are accompanied by a footnote to the lexical commentary, which comments on the lexical units from the perspective of meaning, function, and usage, representing the most frequent functional words, some of which relate to so-called wenyanisms, measure words, and words and phrases that have stable use in conversational speech.
The introduction provides the author's recommendations for organizing educational work with the material.
