In the Night of the Great Tide
The main character of the trilogy "In the Night of the Great Tide" moves in dreams to strange, semi-fantastic worlds, having turned into a twelve-year-old boy. And from the deserted, dead world, where the boys have been once again, they are helped to escape by Yashka — the eternal pearl, a living crystal, a drop of star rain. Like Seryozhka, Faddeyka, the hero of the "Orange Portrait with Speckles," he wanders between two worlds — Earth and Mars. Here, on Earth, he is an ordinary boy, a dreamer and a fantasist. There, on Mars, he is a wise prince, dedicating all his strength to putting an end to the senseless slaughter waged by the local tribes against each other, thereby saving the planet from destruction.
