Argento

Dario Argento is a recognized classic of cinema, who is called the “Italian Hitchcock”. In the first Russian-language monograph dedicated to the maestro, St. Petersburg film scholar Oleg Kovalev examines the main themes and motifs of Argento’s work in the context of world culture. The publication is complemented by an annotated selected filmography and a selected bibliography, as well as a selection of quotes from interviews with the director.
