Thus, the substance becomes thick, but at the same time plastic and fluid.Due to their unusual properties, polymers have found applications in many areas of our lives: medicine, construction, automotive engineering, clothing production, and even in the food industry. How to make slime?Prepare a polyvinyl alcohol solution. To do this, pour 300 ml of hot water into a jar using a measuring cup. While stirring constantly, add 5–6 tablespoons of polyvinyl alcohol. The prepared solution will be enough for three slimes.Note that polyvinyl alcohol dissolves only at temperatures above 70 degrees. Therefore, the solution needs to be heated in a microwave or water bath. Then cool the mixture to room temperature.Prepare a dye solution. To do this, pour about a third of the available glycerin into a colored cup (this is one incomplete measuring spoon). Then add a few grains of dye. For glowing slime, instead of dye, a luminescent powder is added (you need to add about a third of the contents of the jar).The hardest part is behind. Only magic lies ahead! Measure 100 ml of the polyvinyl alcohol solution using a measuring cup and pour it into the colored cup with the diluted dye.Prepare a sodium tetraborate solution. For this, wash the measuring cup and pour 100 ml of room temperature water into it. Then add 2 measuring spoons of sodium tetraborate. Mix thoroughly. The resulting solution will be enough for three slimes.Add 30 ml of sodium tetraborate to the colored cup with the polyvinyl alcohol solution. And — oh, miracle! — the liquid will instantly turn into a viscous slime, stretchy like caramel.Using a stick, vigorously mix the resulting substance until a homogeneous mass is obtained. Wait for 1–2 minutes and take out your slime. Knead it thoroughly. At first, the slime may stick to the gloves, but soon it will become homogeneous and very pleasant.From the leftover solutions, make two more slimes. The unusually textured colorful jelly-like mass will bring a lot of pleasure and new sensations.Note that the slime needs to be stored in a jar or bag. It dries out quite quickly in the open air.
