Journalist Rika becomes fascinated with the idea of writing a series of articles about Manako Kaziya – a woman suspected of extortion and the murders of her own admirers. She surrounded men with care and love, fed them home-cooked meals,... lived off their money… and then they died. But the public is surprised not so much by the crimes themselves, but by the killer's appearance: her fullness does not fit the image of a fatal mistress. The journalist wants to find out what Kaziya's secret is, why men loved her, and where she got such confidence in herself?
To approach the mysterious criminal, Rika asks her for a recipe for beef stew that one of the victims ate just before his death. In response, the woman demands that Rika also start cooking. Trying to ingratiate herself with Manako, the journalist fails to notice how she herself becomes ensnared in a web of manipulation and lies, gradually losing control over her own life…
