The Corleone clan is the most powerful in all of America. To society, they are oil traders, but in reality, their sphere of influence is much larger. The only thing Don Corleone does not want to get his hands dirty with is drugs. His refusal greatly upsets the other families. Such a thing is unforgivable for an aging don. A prolonged war between the clans begins. The concept of familial revenge is still alive, so the slaughter can only be stopped by taking a risky step.
