The Mage's Map

In our world, there are places where magic is real. It flows, twists, and seeps through the Rifts of matter. Each Rift is surrounded by an unremarkable little town, the center of which is a magical school. After being forced to move, Alex transfers from one such school to another. From the very first step, she is drawn into a whirlwind of events, strange even by the standards of such places. Where will fate lead her, laid out on the table with Tarot cards?
