Managing Emotions» — is a set of knowledge, ideas, and tools for useful games that will help teach a child to manage their emotions, and parents to better understand their little ones and be able to negotiate with them.... This means building strong, trusting relationships, avoiding tantrums and fits.

It is more challenging for young children to control their emotions and behavior than it is for adults. A little one finds it difficult to express their feelings in an acceptable way primarily because the part of their brain responsible for self-regulation is not yet fully developed. This is why small children cry when they are sad, push and kick when they are angry, scream and run away when they are scared.

For regulating their own emotions and behavior, a child needs the help of a parent.

In “Smart One”, an effective methodology has been created that helps moms and dads better understand their little ones' feelings and teaches children to express their emotions in acceptable ways. These are clear, understandable tips from psychologists on how to deal with negative feelings, how to talk about them with the child, and how to behave during children's tantrums or one's own irritation.
