Cursed Spring

Collin and Rich Gundersen are raising their little son on the rocky coast of California. It's 1977, and life in this logging town is not what it used to be. For generations, the community lived and breathed the forest; now... this lifestyle is under threat. Collin is a midwife. Rich is a logger. He climbs trees hundreds of feet tall—a dangerous job that has claimed the lives of his father and grandfather. Collin and Rich want a better life for themselves and their son. But when Rich secretly spends his savings to purchase a plot with ancient sequoias, and Collin, mourning her recently interrupted pregnancy and desperately wanting to have a second child, opposes the logging company’s use of herbicides, which she believes are causing numerous miscarriages, the Gundersens find themselves on opposite sides of an emerging conflict. As tensions rise in the town, what they are trying to protect is under threat: their family.
