This educational manual has been developed through many years of teaching work by the outstanding theater artist, People's Artist of Russia, full member of the Russian Academy of Arts, professor of the Department of Scenography and Stage Costume at the... Russian State Institute of Performing Arts E. S. Kocherhin. The unique methodology, summarizing the experience of training theater artists at the Saint Petersburg State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin and the Saint Petersburg State Academy of Theatre Arts, is based on practical research aimed at helping students grasp the main categories of composition and color theory. The course is primarily intended for future scenographers and is focused on practical work in a given stage space.
