Web Application Development on PHP 8

The creation of web applications in PHP version 8.x is described with practical examples. The basics of PHP development are provided: installation and configuration of Apache 2.4, PHP, MySQL, and cross-platform builds of XAMPP, choice of PHP code editor, language... syntax, the most useful functions, and innovations in PHP 8.x are outlined. The creation of web applications using the popular framework Laravel and the Blade templating engine is considered.
