AVA On my birthday, I caught a guy in bed with another girl. I swear, no more love! The human boy literally trampled my heart. Meeting the devilishly charming Torin, king of the Good Fairies, is quite untimely. He is magnificent, but I hate fairies and will never kneel before him. The tournament, in which hundreds of fairy girls compete every year for the right to be Torin's wife, does not interest me. But the king offered a deal, and I am ready to take the risk. I have nothing to lose except my own head, for the fairies will kill a rival for the crown. However, the closer I get to Torin, the more I forget that this is all a game. Now my life is at stake. And my heart. TORIN Demons destroyed my mother, the last queen of Fairyland. Since then, I have drawn magic from our kingdom. But a frost has settled on the land. Only a queen on the throne can bring us spring. For that, I need someone I cannot fall in love with. Once I was a hostage to my feelings, but the demons cursed me. Now, under the threat of death, any girl who melts my heart is in danger. Ava, with her boldness, has shown me that she is the one I need. A fairy changeling, a pitiful ragamuffin. I offered her a lucrative deal with a guarantee of victory in the tournament and a large sum of money. She will get all of this if she survives. But, getting to know the girl better, I realized: she is beautiful. It seems that Ava is threatened not only by the duel. But by me.
