Vladimir Mikhailovich Bekhterev — a Russian neurologist, psychiatrist, and psychologist, founder of a scientific school, author of fundamental works on the anatomy, physiology, and pathology of the nervous system, progenitor of social psychology in Russia, and creator of the first Psychoneurological Institute in Russia.
The book reveals the essence of suggestion as a psychological phenomenon, the mechanisms of the emergence of psychological epidemics, and the role of various types of suggestion in their birth and spread during crisis situations in society. This was the first experience of its kind in domestic science.
