The Secret of the Bookshelf

In an old bookshelf in her grandmother's dilapidated cottage, Rebecca finds a diary and a stack of letters from the 1940s. It soon becomes clear that her family's history is much more complicated than Rebecca thought. She ran away from home and hadn't seen even her mother for many years. Now she will have to discover what dark secrets her beloved grandmother Anna kept all these years. The letters and diary bring to life the story of World War II. Young Anna is in love with Luka and is ready to risk everything when he asks her to help smuggle Jews across the strait, unaware that this intervention will forever change their lives.
