I Travel Alone

A body of a six-year-old girl has been discovered in the forest near Oslo. She is dressed in a doll dress, has a school backpack on her back, and around her neck is a ribbon with the inscription “I travel... alone.” The brilliant Mia Kruger, possessing a unique instinct for investigation, left the police several years ago and settled on a deserted island in the Norwegian fjords, where she indulges in tormenting memories and thoughts of suicide. But when her former boss Holger Munk shows her photographs from the crime scene, Mia realizes: the girl in the forest is only the first victim, so returning and solving this case is her duty.
