Andrei Voznesensky is called a poet of the sixties, but he is a poet of the 20th century, transitioning into the 21st century. He is a true prophetic poet; as early as the 70s, he wrote about the digitalization of... our world and sought a place in the Russian language for all new words and concepts. Voznesensky, who was translated into many languages around the world, represented Russian poetry in many countries from Canada to Australia during the 60s and 70s. The author of the rock opera "Juno and Avos", the author of the lyrics for many hits, a witness to the life of the 20th century, he was very actively empathizing with people and events, and therefore his prose and poems are full of participation, collaboration, acceptance of the world of the past, the present, and the future.
This book is a chronicle of both Andrei Voznesensky's life and the life of the entire 20th century in poetry and photographs, in prose and documents, many of which are published for the first time.
