Learning First Poems Through Pictures. Author's Course

Is your child a mute, and do you dream of hearing their first words and phrases? Or is your little one already talking, but their speech development is significantly behind the norm? The book offers a unique and effective way... to develop speech through memorizing simple quatrains (the author of the poems is A. G. Ivanova) and working with colorful pictures, which will allow the child not only to recite poems but also to learn to listen to them, as well as to arrange narrative illustrations in order. Additionally, through the pictures, the child learns to tell poems with their hands, mimicking the actions described in the text.

Why is reading and memorizing poems in our course program so beneficial for initiating and developing speech? Firstly, we rely on the most important psychological mechanisms of speech: we train the sequence of operations, develop memory, and form comprehension of the text. Secondly, during the classes, we develop fine and gross motor skills, form a sense of rhyme, and enrich vocabulary.
