One way or another, these changes affect a person's mental life, exacerbating some traits and smoothing out others. Psychological problems related to internet usage are interesting for practical study.
The most common images of the internet have become fire, water, desert, and web. The internet is presented as a man-made and powerful element. It can engulf a person, but if tamed, it will open up great opportunities. Like any element, the internet requires an ecological approach: if filled with negative emotions, everything around will be poisoned over time. To manage these forces, one must recognize their power and their own resilience, which occurs in the process of counseling.
