The novel «The Amphibian Man» tells the story of an Argentine surgeon, Salvatore, who, in a struggle to save a child's life,... transplants the gills of a young shark, allowing the boy to survive and gain the ability to live underwater. Thus, Ichtandrus is born — the amphibian man.
The main character of the novel «Ariel» is a young Englishman, Aurelius Galton, the heir to a wealthy lord, an orphan who is placed by his guardians in an Indian religious school called «Dandarath». There, they train people with unique abilities: fakirs, mediums, clairvoyants. An experiment is proposed on the boy that allows him to learn to fly.
