This manual is part of an additional set of the technology «Mathematical Steps», designed for joint activities of an adult and a child aged 3-4 years. It contains a system of educational and gaming tasks that will help the child sequentially assimilate mathematical concepts and representations, dependencies and relationships, mathematical actions, and terminology. The section «Tips for Adults» offers tasks for reinforcing mathematical concepts in the child's everyday life: during walks, in games, at mealtime, etc. The manual also contains program objectives and planned outcomes.

Joint activities with an adult encourage the child to engage in active creativity, promote the development of independence, accumulate personal experience, and master the program at a faster pace.
