The notable French writer Jules Verne (1828-1905) is known to every adventure novel enthusiast around the world. His works have been adapted numerous times and have become classics of adventure literature.
The novel "The Mysterious Island" (1872) is the final part... of the trilogy that also includes "The Children of Captain Grant" and "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea". In it, we once again meet the former first mate of Captain Grant, Ayrton, and the mysterious Captain Nemo.
The novel tells the story of five brave individuals who are carried away by a hot air balloon to an uninhabited island in the Pacific Ocean. There, they, while facing various obstacles, not only fight for survival but also demonstrate remarkable knowledge, ingenuity, and persistence, creating everything necessary for life.
