Gunter Pauli (Gunter Pauli, 1956, Belgium) studied economics at universities in Belgium and France, founded and managed many companies and public organizations, and advised governments and industry leaders in various countries on how to implement innovations that more efficiently and environmentally friendly organize the provision of water, food, housing, health, and energy while maximizing the use of local resources. Pauli's activities encompass business, culture, science, politics, education, and nature conservation. Under his leadership, the company "Ecover" became a pioneer in ecological production. Pauli founded the Zero Emissions Research and Initiatives (ZERI) and the Global ZERI Network fund, which achieved a shift in production and consumption paradigms in a number of industries to align with natural systems.
