Colleagues! I ask you to review this memo, sign it, and submit it to Marina in the accounting department.
About the game
"Cringe: No Days Off" is a highly subjective game without any conventions and unnecessary rules. It is also a continuation of the classic "Cringe," but now with an office atmosphere. Play at a party with friends or at a bar with colleagues after work. It’s perfect for relaxing and having fun after a hard work week.
How to play?
There are 2 decks: one with assertion cards and the other with response cards. Each employee, that is, player, will also have a status card – it tracks the unemployment benefits of each employee. Distribute one response card to each player. Familiarize yourselves with it, but do not show it to other players; it will be more fun that way. Then, determine who will be the director in the first round – this player takes as many cards from the assertion deck as needed to read a different assertion to each player. The director then reads the assertion to the player on their left. That player, in turn, chooses how to read the response from their card. This continues until all employees have responded to the director's assertion. After that, the director chooses what they think is the worst response and loudly and clearly tells that employee, "YOU'RE FIRED!"
If you are that player, move your status card down one row. Then pass the role of the boss clockwise and continue playing! Used assertion cards are discarded, while response cards remain with the players until they use all 4 responses.
Who won?
You continue the game until one of the players’ status cards reaches the final status of "Fired!" The winner is the player who is highest on the status card.
