Each employee, that is, player, will also have a status card – it tracks the unemployment benefits of each employee. Distribute one response card to each player. Then, determine who will be the director in the first round – this player takes as many cards from the assertion deck as needed to read a different assertion to each player. The director then reads the assertion to the player on their left. That player, in turn, chooses how to read the response from their card. This continues until all employees have responded to the director's assertion. After that, the director chooses what they think is the worst response and loudly and clearly tells that employee, "YOU'RE FIRED!"If you are that player, move your status card down one row.
